The HOTWGPS is a group of people who share a common
interest in the care and feeding of fish, water plants,
and the tranquility and the beauty of the water garden.
We are a not-for-profit organization with the following
objectives:
- To promote, create and enlarge the hobby of Water
Gardening, to disseminate information about Water
Gardening and to engage in educational and social
activities related to Water Gardening and Ponding.
- To encourage a greater appreciation and interest
in water gardens.
- To stimulate the study and culture of aquatic plants,
fish, water gardens and ponds.
- To disseminate information and help to the members.
- To enjoy discussions about our ponds, lives and
have a good time enjoying each other’s company.
Or to put it simply: if you like ponds or water gardens,
good conversation, good people and good food, you'll
fit right in! We all love sharing and talking about
what we know, and learning from each other in the process.
As one member put it "just being out
side and having a place to escape to by sitting next
to your pond is a wonderful thing and providing a
place for wildlife to enjoy is rewarding and then
having people to share it with is awesome ".
The HOTWGPS meets the third Tuesday of the month at
6:30 PM.
